A very successful season. Wednesday played their first representative match when they took on a combined Derbyshire F.A. team home and away. The first match took place at Bramall Lane when Wednesday were beaten by one goal to nil. Wednesday got their revenge at the Recreation Ground in Chesterfield where they won two one with goals by Orton and William Clegg.
